Request for Proposal - Uncontrolled Crosswalk Enhancements Project

The City of San Leandro is seeking a consultant firm to develop a Plan, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) for the Uncontrolled Crosswalk Enhancement Project. The project aims to enhance pedestrian safety and accessibility at seven uncontrolled pedestrian crossings in the City of San Leandro. The consultant will be responsible for providing all activities necessary to deliver the project in the PS&E phase, including project management, stakeholder and utility coordination, PS&E development, and design services during construction. • The project will develop a complete PS&E package incorporating recommendations from the San Leandro Local Roadway Safety Plan. • The consultant will be required to provide a detailed scope of work, technical expertise, organization and approach, staffing plan, and cost proposal. • The city has a living wage ordinance that applies to contractors who engage in a specified amount of business with the city. • The consultant will be required to comply with the city's insurance requirements and provide proof of insurance. • The city reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposal process.
