Workforce Solutions Borderplex (WSB) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to collect data on existing workforce education, training, apprenticeship, and development programs that can prepare individuals for careers supporting data centers and related infrastructure projects in the Borderplex region of Texas. The RFI is purely for market research and strategic planning; no procurement, funding, or contract award will result from this solicitation. Respondents—educational institutions, training providers, apprenticeship programs, labor groups, employers, and industry associations—are asked to detail program descriptions, curricula, credentials, employer engagement, outcomes, and capacity. Submissions must be entered via the Beacon Bid system by September 16, 2026, 3:00 p.m. MST and should not include pricing or formal proposals.
• Purpose: gather comprehensive information on regional training resources for data‑center‑related occupations.
• Target respondents: education/training providers, apprenticeship programs, employers, industry groups.
• Information requested: organization details, program descriptions, curriculum components, credentials, employer involvement, outcomes, and additional supporting materials.
