Description
The City of Salina is seeking qualified contractors to perform surface preparation and painting of structural steel and related components on the 531‑foot North Ohio Street Bridge, including fences, lighting poles, concrete barriers, and railroad rail. The work requires KDOT pre‑qualification for Work Type Q (Painting Structural Steel) and the submission of sealed bids. Three full sets of plans/specifications will be provided, with additional copies available for purchase. The bid deadline is October 29, 2026, and the city reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
• Scope covers bridge‑deck steel, fence systems, 24 street‑light poles (6 on‑bridge), 46 pedestrian poles, 5 bollard lights, and concrete barriers.
