Description
The Albany VA Medical Center is seeking a tissue processor for the Anatomic Pathology section of the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service. The contractor shall provide, transport, install, and test the tissue processor, and provide training to the histology staff. The tissue processor should meet certain salient characteristics, including being a floor-standing model, having a process capacity of up to 300 cassettes per run, and allowing for delayed start and end times of processing. The contractor shall also provide a one-year manufacturer's warranty on all parts and labor.
* The tissue processor should be a floor-standing model with dimensions not exceeding 60 inches in height, 37 inches in width, and 54 inches in depth.
* The tissue processor should have a process capacity of up to 300 cassettes per run.
* The tissue processor should allow for delayed start and end times of processing.
* The contractor shall provide a one-year manufacturer's warranty on all parts and labor.
* The contractor shall provide training to the histology staff on the operation and maintenance of the tissue processor.
