Indiana University is seeking one or more airline partners to provide commercial passenger air services and/or charter flight services for its students, faculty, staff, athletic teams, and executive leadership. The contract will cover a broad network of domestic and international routes, flexible fare and charter terms, dedicated account management, and a sponsorship/branding component that allows the airline to gain visibility across the university community. The award will be a five‑year agreement (with renewal options) and the university expects to spend roughly $20 million per year on air travel, split between commercial ($15.5 M) and charter ($5.1 M) services.
• Provide competitive airfare pricing, flexible fare rules, and a user‑friendly booking interface integrated with IU travel‑management platforms.
• Deliver charter‑flight capability for athletics, marching band, and executive travel, including equipment transport and branding opportunities.
• Develop a sponsorship package that includes co‑branded marketing, campus engagement events, and alumni outreach, while meeting sustainability and compliance requirements.
