Description
The Phoenix VA Health Care System is seeking a potential qualified contractor to provide annual and semi-annual inspections, maintenance, and safety testing on high-pressure and low-pressure condensing boilers. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to perform the work, which includes inspections, maintenance, and safety testing. The work must be completed in accordance with VA safety standards, manufacturer specifications, OSHA requirements, and the National Board Inspection Code. The contractor must also provide written reports for all inspections, tuning, and safety tests, and ensure compliance with VA and OSHA safety standards during all work.
Some key requirements of the job include:
• Performing annual internal inspections and maintenance on high-pressure boilers
• Performing semi-annual safety device testing on all high-pressure and condensing boilers
• Providing written reports for all inspections, tuning, and safety tests
• Ensuring compliance with VA and OSHA safety standards during all work
• Coordinating scheduling with the VA Boiler Plant Operations Supervisor to minimize disruption to patient care
• Supplying all parts, materials, and tools required to complete the work
• Complying with all lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements
