Limited Competition: Outcomes of Electronic Medical Records and Genomics (eMERGE) Genomic Risk Assessment and Management Network - Clinical Sites (U01, Clinical Trial Required)

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is soliciting applications for a Limited Competition Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to participate in the Outcomes of Electronic Medical Records and Genomics (eMERGE) Genomic Risk Assessment and Management Network. The goal of this initiative is to extend follow-up and collection of outcome data on approximately 25,000 patients receiving genomically informed risk assessment and management recommendations. The eMERGE Network will assess longer-term adherence to and outcomes of GIRA-based preventative recommendations among clinicians and participants. Key aspects of this opportunity include: * The development of methods, resources, and technologies to improve human health through advances in genomics research * The establishment of a Steering Committee (SC) to coordinate activities and make major scientific decisions * The requirement for recipients to adhere to the NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy and the NIH Genomic Data Sharing Policy * The expectation of timely data release through widely accessible data repositories * The need for a Data Management and Sharing Plan that is in alignment with NHGRI's data sharing expectations
