Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking bids for the operation of a waterfall viewing concession at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park. The concession will offer rafting trips to view Cumberland Falls and may establish a temporary concession area on site. The successful bidder will be responsible for all costs involved in the operation and maintenance of the concession, including equipment, labor, and supplies. The concession will operate from Wednesday to Sunday, with extended hours possible during peak season. The bidder must also comply with all applicable state and federal statutes and regulations. Key aspects of the job include:
• Operating a daily rafting concession on park premises
• Maintaining a clean and litter-free area throughout the leased premises
• Providing adequate protection of all work from damages and protecting the Licensors' property from injury or loss
• Complying with all applicable state and federal statutes and regulations
• Carrying and maintaining public liability insurance during the term of the resulting agreement.
