Description
The Henry County Schools is seeking bids for the purchase of food items and products for its School Nutrition Department. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional years. The successful bidder will be required to provide food items and products to each school location, with deliveries to be made on a weekly basis. The bidder must also provide an app to track deliveries and provide electronic data interchange (EDI) and online ordering and reporting capabilities.
• Cold Storage Delivery of USDA commodity products at a fixed rate for the specified contract period
• App to track deliveries daily with provided ETA function
• Delivery to all schools- unloading and storing in specified areas
• Deliveries between 7:00 AM EST and 2:00 PM EST
• Commodity Management Application
• Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
• Online Ordering
• Online Reporting
