Hauling of Scrap Tires from the Forty West Landfill for Recycling

The Washington County is seeking a contractor to haul scrap tires from the Forty West Landfill for recycling. The contractor shall provide two enclosed roadworthy trailers, minimum length of forty-five feet, for auto and truck tire storage. The trailers provided shall have roll-up doors. The contractor shall include with their bid a list of equipment that shall be maintained on site for the duration of the work. Charges for operating and maintaining all equipment shall be paid by the contractor. The contract will be for a one-year period, with an option for renewal for up to three additional consecutive one-year periods. • The contractor is responsible for all tipping and disposal fees. • The contractor shall follow all federal and state laws for vehicle weights. • The contractor is expected to provide a list of equipment to be maintained on site. • The contract includes an option for renewal for up to three additional consecutive one-year periods. • The estimated annual tonnage is around 115-338 tons. • The contractor shall provide a bid price that includes all costs, including hauling fees and disposal fees.
