Tankless Water Heaters and Control Unit Replacement, Wylie

The Texas Military Department is seeking bids for the replacement of six tankless water heaters and one control unit at the Wylie Readiness Center. The contractor must remove the existing units, install new high-efficiency liquid propane tankless water heaters, and connect them to the existing plumbing and gas lines. The contractor must also ensure that all connections are secure and leak-free, and that all designated diagnostic and maintenance ports are fully accessible. The project must be completed within 30 calendar days. • The contractor must possess a current, valid plumbing license in the appropriate classification issued by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners. • The contractor must ensure that all plumbing and electrical services are in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. • The contractor must perform a pre-work walk-through of the job site with the TMD Project Manager to verify current conditions before any work begins. • The contractor must submit all Statement of Work and Specifications questions in writing to the TMD Project Manager. • The contractor must maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
