Service Contract for Hamilton STAR V Liquid Handler

The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) is seeking a service contract for a Hamilton STAR V liquid handler, an automated system used in the Biospecimen Core laboratory for research purposes. The contract will provide preventive maintenance, repairs, technical support, and software/firmware updates to ensure the continued operation of the instrument. The required service contract must include preventive maintenance services, coverage of parts and labor for repairs, technical support, priority on-site service, firmware and software updates, and maintenance of all existing system functionalities and configurations. The contract will be for a period of one year, from May 2, 2026, to May 1, 2027. • Preventive maintenance services, including calibration and functional verification • Coverage of parts, labor, and travel for repairs due to normal use • Technical support (phone/email) with a response time within four (4) business hours • Priority on-site service for instrument downtime • Firmware and software updates • Maintenance of all existing system functionalities and configurations • Service performed by manufacturer-trained and authorized personnel
