Graphic Design Services

The City of Palo Alto Utilities (CPAU) is seeking proposals for graphic design services to support its customer services, including utility billing, outreach for construction projects, rates and safety information, energy and water conservation, efficiency and education. The selected Proposer will develop distinctive creative concepts tailored to CPAU's target audience, while remaining consistent with CPAU branding. The scope of work includes creating traditional outreach materials, providing graphic design services, and collaborating with the project manager to develop annual outreach materials. Some of the specific services required include: • Utility bill inserts, print ads, factsheets, newspaper articles, displays, brochures • High-resolution photographs with a regional context • Images, charts, infographics and graphs clearly explaining complicated information or a compelling call to action • Creative elements for the website including photographs, graphics, charts, videos, games and other elements • Web content management including potential HTML editing and or webpage creation and design • Videos and animated images for a variety of uses including but not limited to online and classroom educational videos, television commercials, and other dynamic media advertisements • Movie making, including story and script development, animation and graphics • Promotional items for residents, schools, special events, and businesses • Customized illustrations and artwork for a variety of formats • Coordinate with outside printers and in-house City of Palo Alto copying services The City of Palo Alto is looking for a Proposer who can provide high-quality graphic design services, has experience working with public municipalities, and can demonstrate financial stability. The Proposer should also be able to provide a detailed proposal outlining their approach, qualifications, and costs.
