Description
The Department of the Air Force is seeking to purchase vertical carousels (megastations) from Advanced Office Systems, Inc., the sole authorized sales and service provider for KardexRemstar products in Northern California. The requirement includes the Megamat RS 350 vertical carousel, Kardexremstar Totes, Power Pick Global KeyTec Software, and training. The existing storage system in Building 549 currently utilizes multiple Kardex Megamat units provided by Advanced Office Systems, Inc. (AOS). The addition of more vertical carousels has raised concerns with Civil Engineering regarding the potential strain on the existing power infrastructure.
* The Megamat RS 350 units and Power Pick Global software are part of an integrated storage system supported by both the manufacturer and AOS, ensuring long-term maintenance and support.
