Q301--STAT Reference Lab Testing for Send Out

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide STAT reference lab testing for send-out testing for the Phoenix VAHCS. The contractor will be required to perform various tests, including ethylene glycol, volatiles, and methanol, and provide test results within prescribed turnaround times. The contractor will also be required to maintain valid certifications, such as a Certificate of Compliance or Certificate of Accreditation from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, during the entire performance period of the contract. The contractor will be required to provide a cumulative workload summary report of tests performed on a monthly basis. Some of the key requirements for the contractor include: • Maintaining valid certifications, such as a Certificate of Compliance or Certificate of Accreditation from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services • Providing test results within prescribed turnaround times • Maintaining the safety and integrity of specimens • Providing a cumulative workload summary report of tests performed on a monthly basis • Being accessible by telephone service 24 hours per day, 7 days per week • Following up on voicemails/messages from the VA employee and/or COR within the next business day
