Description
The State of South Dakota is seeking a vendor to supply, deliver, install, and train prison staff on two industrial‑capacity washing machines and two steam‑heated laundry dryers for the Mike Durfee State Prison. The equipment must meet specific electrical and capacity requirements, be shipped FOB destination, and the vendor must also provide all necessary hoses, connections, and removal of the existing units (disposal handled by the prison). Delivery and full installation must be completed within 90 days of contract award, and all vendor personnel must clear a background check before entering the correctional facility.
• Provide two 170‑lb capacity steam‑heated dryers (440‑480 V, 3‑phase, 6 A, 15 A breaker).
• Provide two 140‑lb capacity commercial washing machines (480 V, 3‑phase, 8 A, 15 A breaker).
• Include shipping, installation, training, hoses, and connections; remove and dispose of legacy equipment.
• Must meet deadline of 90 days post‑award and satisfy prison background‑check requirements.
