ENGINEERING FIRM TO PROVIDE BID&PERMIT READY DRAWINGS & SPECIFICATIONS

The County of Mercer is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide bid and permit ready drawings and specifications, as well as construction management services for the Hightstown Firehouse emergency generator project. The project is being funded by a CDBG-CV1 grant from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. The scope of work includes designing and installing an emergency generator, including a concrete pad, transfer switches, and an elevated platform. The selected firm will be responsible for securing federal, state, and local permits and providing construction management services through project completion. Key deliverable dates include completing bid documents and permitting by January 2026 and completing the project by May 2026. • The project requires compliance with various federal and state regulations, including those related to affirmative action, non-discrimination, and environmental protection. • The selected firm will be required to provide documentation and records, including invoices, payment requests, and project reports. • The County reserves the right to cancel the contract if the selected firm fails to meet the deliverable dates or comply with the terms and conditions of the contract.
