Description
The US Government Publishing Office is seeking quotations for the production of 100 perfect bound books, consisting of 25 copies each of 4 different books. The books must be printed in four-color process, with a minimum of 150 line screen and a resolution of 2400 x 2400 dpi x 1 bit or 600 x 600 dpi x 8 bit depth technology. The contractor must provide a W-9 form before payment and must deliver the completed books by 12/09/2025.
Some key points to consider are:
• The contractor must receive furnished materials, including PDF files and a purchase order, via email upon award.
• The contractor must perform a basic check of the furnished media and publishing files to assure correct output of the required reproduction image.
• The contractor must create or alter necessary trapping, set proper screen angles and screen frequency, and define file output selection for the imaging device being utilized.
• The contractor must pack the books to prevent damage and must deliver them via traceable means.
• The contractor must report any errors, media damage, or data corruption that might interfere with proper file image processing to the contract administrator.
