Description
The State of Iowa is seeking a qualified and experienced third-party background screening firm to provide comprehensive pre-employment and employment-related background check services. The services shall include, but are not limited to, criminal history searches, identity and Social Security verification, employment and education verification, professional license checks, motor vehicle record searches, credit history checks, civil court searches, reference checks, and international background searches. The awarded contractor shall provide secure, timely, accurate, and compliant background screening services in full accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), state law, and all applicable data privacy and security requirements.
• The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option for the State to add additional services during the life of the contract.
• The contractor must be capable of supporting decentralized users, separate accounts, and complex invoicing structures.
• The contractor must comply with federal and state laws, including FCRA.
• The contractor must maintain secure, encrypted systems for all data transmissions, reporting, and storage.
• The contractor must provide quarterly reports on all sales made under this agreement.
