The City of Iowa City is seeking a qualified law firm to serve as outside defense counsel and provide supplemental legal services to its Legal Department for Iowa workers’ compensation matters. The contract will be a two‑year term (with up to two additional two‑year renewal options) and will be awarded on a best‑value basis after an evaluation of qualifications, experience, and pricing. Services are on an as‑needed basis and may include claim evaluation, litigation, representation before administrative agencies and courts, and related advisory work.
