Description
The State of Alabama Department of Human Resources is seeking a qualified contractor to provide one‑time preventive‑maintenance (PM) and minor repair services for its HVAC equipment across all county offices. The work must be performed between July 1 2026 and September 30 2026, with all inspections, reports, and water‑treatment testing completed by the end date. Only vendors that attended the mandatory site‑visit in Round 1 are eligible to bid, and all technicians must hold the required state licenses and EPA certifications.
• Perform full HVAC PM tasks: filter replacement, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks, electrical/mechanical inspections, drainage maintenance, and documentation for each unit.
• Conduct water‑treatment testing in 11 specified counties, providing immediate analysis reports and using a certified water‑treatment provider.
• Submit a unit‑price bid covering all labor, travel, supplies, and required documentation for a single site visit; any repair work beyond the PM scope requires a prior written quote with disclosed markup.
• Adhere to strict on‑site procedures: sign‑in at the county office, work only 8:30 am–4:00 pm M‑F, provide before/after photos, and complete inspection forms at the end of each visit.
