Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking a contractor to perform testing, maintenance, certification, repair, and/or replacement of backflow prevention devices at various locations within Caltrans District 01. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, parts, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, travel, vehicles, and incidentals to perform the work. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder meeting the requirements outlined in the IFB.
• The contractor must possess a valid and current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and a valid Contractors State License Board (CSLB) license.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable labor laws and regulations, including prevailing wage requirements.
• The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonds as required by the State.
• The contractor must perform all work in accordance with the specifications and plans provided by Caltrans.
• The contractor must ensure that all work is completed on or before the termination date of the agreement.
