Clarkston Rest Area Janitorial, Grounds, Snow Services

The Michigan Department of Transportation is seeking a vendor to provide janitorial, grounds, and snow services for the Clarkston Rest Area in Oakland County, Metro Region. The selected vendor will be responsible for performing these services in accordance with the terms outlined in the RFP. The RFP includes a detailed description of the scope of work, proposal instructions, and evaluation criteria. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing janitorial services, including cleaning and maintenance of the rest area facilities • Performing grounds maintenance, including lawn care and landscaping • Removing snow and ice from the rest area parking lots and sidewalks • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations The State will evaluate proposals based on a PASS/FAIL basis, considering factors such as completeness and acceptability of responses to vendor questions, completeness and acceptability of responses on Schedule A, and completeness of Schedule C - LSS.
