Description
The State of Michigan Department of Natural Resources is seeking a contractor to provide exclusive rental of Fire Boss firefighting planes for the Forest Division. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for up to five additional years. The contractor will be required to provide two Fire Boss aircraft, pilots, fuel, and all associated equipment. The contractor must also comply with aquatic invasive species prevention requirements and follow specific guidelines for aircraft maintenance and operation.
• The contract will require the contractor to provide daily availability rates, hourly flight time rates, and support vehicle rates.
• The contractor must also provide a pricing schedule that includes all costs, including one-time or set-up charges, fees, and potential costs.
• The State of Michigan reserves the right to modify the contract and to disqualify any bidder that fails to follow the instructions or provide complete and accurate information.
