The County of Gwinnett is seeking qualified towing companies to provide on‑call wrecker services for its Public‑Safety districts and County fleet operations under a one‑year contract with up to four renewal options. Vendors must meet strict fleet, facility, staffing, insurance, and response‑time requirements and will be evaluated on experience, equipment, compliance, and past performance. Fixed per‑service rates are established for light, medium, and heavy‑duty tows, mileage, and storage, with no additional fees permitted.
• Provide 24/7 on‑call towing for police, sheriff, and county fleet vehicles across six districts (light/medium and heavy‑duty categories).
• Meet response‑time standards (≤ 30 min for light/medium police calls, ≤ 45 min for heavy police calls, ≤ 4 hr for fleet calls) and maintain a qualified facility with ≥ 200‑vehicle storage, fencing, lighting, and surveillance.
