Fox River NRDA

The Fox River/Green Bay Natural Resource Trustees are seeking applicants to restore natural resources injured by the release of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) into the Lower Fox River and Green Bay, WI. The Trustees consist of the United States Department of the Interior, the United States Department of Commerce, the State of Wisconsin, the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin, and the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin. The goal of the NRDA program is to restore, rehabilitate, replace, and/or acquire the equivalent of natural resources and resource services injured by PCBs released to the Lower Fox River and Green Bay. • Eligible applicants include state, county, city, village, or township governments, special district governments, public and State controlled institutions of higher education, private institutions of higher education, Native American tribal governments and organizations, nonprofit organizations, for profit organizations, and small businesses. • Applicants must provide project concepts to the restoration coordinator to be vetted through the Trustee selection process. • The Trustees estimate around $3M will be allocated to support restoration projects each year. • The period of performance will be determined on a project-by-project basis. • Cost sharing is not required, but cost-effective projects will be prioritized.
