The City of Commerce, GA, is seeking qualified contractors to serve as a standby gas‑utility contractor responsible for installing new natural‑gas mains and performing repairs throughout the city’s service area. The contract will be awarded for an initial one‑year term with the option to renew up to three additional one‑year extensions. Proposals must be submitted sealed by November 6, 2026, and must include detailed pricing per linear foot for various pipe sizes, labor rates, and equipment costs. The successful vendor must provide proof of $1 M general liability insurance, workers’ compensation coverage, and an E‑Verify affidavit. A performance bond equal to 100 % of the contract amount and a 5 % bid bond are required.
