Description
The Inyo National Forest is seeking to purchase approximately 50,000 human waste disposal kits (WAG bags) for use in the Mt. Whitney Ranger District. The kits must meet specific salient characteristics, including safely containing human waste, being easy to use, suitable for multiple uses, small and light enough to carry, and degradable in the environment. The contract is expected to be a firm fixed-price contract, and the government intends to make one award. The offeror's quotation will be evaluated based on the lowest price technically acceptable criteria.
• The kits must meet the specified salient characteristics.
• The offeror must provide descriptive literature to demonstrate how the proposed product meets the requirements.
• The product must be available for delivery within the specified timeframe.
• The offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
