Description
The State of Nevada is seeking vendors to provide Fire Fuels Reduction and Vegetation Management Services statewide. The services include forest management hand crews, large tree removal, forestry equipment, pesticide application, and aerial seeding. Vendors must be qualified and experienced in providing these services. The contract is expected to begin on July 12, 2022, and end on May 31, 2025.
• Forest management hand crews to complete forest management-related work, including fuels reduction, tree thinning, and erosion control.
• Large tree removal services on an as-needed basis.
• Forestry equipment for fuels management and forest health projects.
• Pesticide application services, with vendors required to have a license issued by the Nevada Department of Agriculture.
• Aerial seeding services, with vendors required to have experience in applying seed in rough, rocky, or mountainous terrain.
