Description
The Nevada Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide international representation services for Canada. The selected agency will support travel trade development, public relations, social media, market intelligence, and strategic execution to increase awareness, visitation, and overnight spend across Nevada. The agency will operate as an extension of the Travel Nevada team and will represent Nevada at the in-market travel trade and media marketplace, provide real-time market intelligence and insights, advocate for Nevada’s tourism products and experiences, and execute integrated sales and PR programs aligned with Travel Nevada’s brand.
Key responsibilities include:
• Market Intelligence & Insight: Monitor Canadian travel trends, demands, sentiment, and booking behavior, and provide quarterly market intelligence reports.
• Travel Trade Sales & Marketing: Educate and engage travel agents, tour operators, online travel agencies (OTAs), and receptive operators, and develop and execute a trade strategy.
• Public Relations & Earned Media: Develop and execute integrated public relations (PR), earned media, and paid media programs, and maintain relationships with consumer, trade, and lifestyle media.
• Staffing & Account Management: Provide a dedicated account team, including a Trade Sales Manager, Public Relations Manager, and Senior Account Manager.
