Description
The California Coastal Commission is seeking a qualified facilitator (or facilitation team) to support its Local Government Working Group (LGWG) over a two‑year period. The contractor will schedule, run, and document monthly virtual meetings, produce agendas and minutes, track action items, and facilitate up to one public in‑person workshop per year. Additional responsibilities include drafting policy‑related materials, coordinating stakeholder outreach, and providing status reports as directed by the LGWG. The contract value is capped at $120,000 for services plus a $3,500 travel allowance.
• Provide impartial facilitation for monthly virtual LGWG meetings and annual public workshop(s).
• Deliver meeting agendas, minutes, action‑item tracking, and assorted work products (policy briefs, outreach summaries, etc.).
• Manage coordination, stakeholder engagement, and reporting throughout the contract term, with a two‑year base period and optional one‑year extension.
