The City of Norwalk is seeking qualified firms to provide comprehensive tree‑maintenance services across all public right‑of‑way locations for an initial six‑year term, with two optional three‑year extensions. The contract covers inventory management, routine pruning, palm care, tree and stump removal, planting, emergency response, and associated reporting and community outreach. • Routine and structural pruning following ISA and ANSI standards, with a city‑wide pruning cycle (3‑year for streets, 2‑year for parks). • Tree, palm, and stump removal services across all DBH ranges, including root pruning, grinding, back‑filling, and debris handling. • Full‑service planting program (container plants and specialty plantings, with optional root barriers) and a 90‑day watering warranty. • Emergency on‑call support (2‑hour response) and coordination with utilities for line‑clearance work. • Detailed quarterly reporting, GIS‑based inventory updates, traffic control, safety compliance, and optional “cycle‑buster” corrective work on a time‑and‑materials basis.
