Quote #2605 Generator Services: Inspections, Maintenance and Repair

The City of La Porte is seeking a qualified vendor to provide annual requirements contract for generator services, including inspections, maintenance, and repair. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the possibility of one-year consecutive renewals for a maximum contract duration of three years. The vendor will be required to perform scheduled inspections and maintenance and repair work as requested by the city. The city has provided a list of equipment that will require maintenance and repair, including generators from various manufacturers such as Generac, Kohler, and Cummins. • The vendor must be factory authorized/certified to perform work on the specified equipment. • The vendor must provide a pricing proposal form with unit prices for each item. • The vendor must comply with all instructions, provisions, and specifications contained in the contract documents. • The vendor must not discriminate against any employee or applicant as prohibited by law. • The vendor must provide a bid bond in an amount of not less than 5% of the total bid. • The vendor must provide performance and payment bonds, when required, in an amount of 100% of the contract amount.
