School Bus Services

The Kansas School for the Deaf is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors to provide school bus transportation services for two scheduled athletic trips and occasionally local field trips for all KSD students. The contract term will be from the date of full execution through December 31, 2027, with the option to renew for three additional twelve-month periods. The successful vendor shall provide a school bus, a qualified driver, and all associated costs necessary to complete the trips. • The vendor shall ensure that all buses used meet state and federal safety standards. • The vendor shall provide proof of insurance, licensing, and compliance with all applicable transportation regulations. • The vendor shall maintain the bus in clean, safe, and operable condition for the duration of service. • The vendor shall ensure the assigned driver is licensed, experienced, and in compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
