Description
The County of Loudoun, Virginia, is seeking qualified consultants to provide building condition evaluations on an as-needed basis. The selected consultant will be required to provide detailed and comprehensive building condition evaluation assessments, including energy efficiency, building envelope design, and survey of various building systems and operation. The consultant will also be required to present their approach and descriptions of proposed evaluations to community and end-user groups. The scope of work includes facilities requirements and utilization studies, feasibility studies, facility assessments, and preparation of reports using UNIFORMAT II standardized system for classifying building elements. The consultant will be expected to provide superior building construction evaluation services and have experience in evaluating community centers, libraries, recreational centers, senior centers, and other similar facilities.
• The consultant must have the ability to provide building condition evaluations to unique and functional County sites.
• The consultant must provide detailed and fully comprehensive building condition evaluation assessments.
• The consultant must have experience in evaluating community centers, libraries, recreational centers, senior centers, and other similar facilities.
• The consultant must be able to present their approach and descriptions of proposed evaluations to community and end-user groups.
