Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Mobile Prosthetic and Orthotic (MoPOC) vehicle to support outreach services and provide clinical care in remote locations. The vehicle must meet specific requirements, including all-wheel drive, a medium height roof, and upgraded alternator. The contractor must provide a vehicle that meets these specifications and deliver it to the Sioux Falls VA Healthcare System by 09/30/2026. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose offer is most advantageous to the Government, considering price and technical acceptability.
• The vehicle must have a complete partition separating the driver's cabin from the van body.
• The interior side walls and ceiling must be constructed with minimum ½” plywood panels.
• The vehicle must be equipped with a 12vdc rooftop AC unit and a 120v rooftop AC unit.
• The contractor must provide a dedicated flammable storage cabinet and a 36” wide butcher block worktable.
• The vehicle must have a Fillauer Trautman variable speed bench carver and a dust collector.
• The contractor must ensure that all work, design, and installation comply with applicable VA, federal, and state codes and standards for safety, occupational health, and fire prevention.
