Optical Biometer with Total Keratometry

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to purchase an optical biometer with Total Keratometry for the Atlanta VA Medical Center. The optical biometer should include features such as Swept Source Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) technology, capability to perform Total Keratometry, effective penetration of dense cataracts, and a reliable fixation check system. The contractor will be responsible for delivering and installing the equipment, as well as providing training on its use. The contract will be for a period of 60 days. • The optical biometer must meet certain salient characteristics, including Swept Source OCT technology and Total Keratometry capability. • The contractor must provide installation and training on the equipment. • The contract is subject to the Buy American Act, and vendors must certify that their products are manufactured in the US or outside the US. • The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, executive orders, rules, and regulations.
