Request For Information_ Parent Services

The County of Los Angeles, Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) is seeking information from organizations with experience in providing service navigation for families with an open child welfare case. The ideal organization will have a two-year established network of service providers, maintain a strong community presence, and be able to employ a person-centered approach to refer and connect parents to community-based organizations (CBOs) and services. The organization should also have experience in tracking needs, providing referrals, and connecting parents to services such as parenting classes, intimate partner violence counseling, substance use disorder treatment, and mental health treatment. Key responsibilities will include: • Building and managing a network of providers • Coordinating with DCFS to identify, coordinate, and connect parents to CBOs and services • Tracking needs and successful connections to services • Identifying gaps in service delivery systems and partnering with DCFS to address those gaps • Providing performance-based quarterly reports with metrics such as number of service referrals, percent of completed referrals, and timeliness of referral completion.
