RFP No. 3331-26 Employee Benefits Management & Consulting Services

Nueces County is seeking a qualified Employee Benefits Management Consultant to provide services including group health plan administration, care management services, third-party administration, COBRA/HIPAA and Section 125 cafeteria plan administration, ancillary benefit programs, and pharmacy benefit management. The selected consultant will demonstrate proven consulting expertise across all aspects of employee benefits and ensure the county remains in compliance with current laws. The contract is for an initial term of one year with an option to renew. The scope of services includes management and consulting tasks, financial reporting, trending and market analysis, and consultative support, guidance, and education. • The consultant will provide services for design and management of Nueces County's insurance and benefits programs. • The consultant will provide recommendations for innovative employee benefit strategies and program design. • The consultant will provide advice and make recommendations to the county related to available ancillary benefit options. • The consultant will assist in the review of claims and actuarial reports. • The consultant will provide periodic reports of Nueces County's insurance program.
