2025-30 Security Guard Services

The County of Cole is seeking a contractor to provide security guard services for the Cole County Courthouse. The contractor will be responsible for providing armed or unarmed security guards to maintain control of building access, assist with uncontrollable visitors, and investigate suspicious activities. The contractor must have at least five years of experience in providing uniformed guard services and must be able to provide proof of insurance and certifications. The contract will be for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional years. The County is seeking a contractor that can provide high-quality services at a competitive price. • The contractor must provide all necessary labor, supervision, uniforms, and equipment. • The contractor must ensure that all personnel are properly trained and certified. • The contractor must provide a minimum of two full-time guards and one part-time guard. • The contractor must be able to provide services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. • The contractor must be able to provide services on an "as needed, if needed" basis.
