Professional Recruitment/Search Firm

The ADAMHS Board for Montgomery County is seeking a professional recruitment process outsourcing and search firm to support the search for the agency's next Executive Director. The firm should demonstrate a successful history of executive level recruitment, with a preference given to those focused on the areas of behavioral health, public administration, social services, and human services. The scope of work includes facilitating listening sessions, sourcing and screening candidates, and supporting the search team in selecting a final candidate. The ideal candidate for the Executive Director position should have 10-12 years of behavioral health care experience, with 5-7 years of senior management experience, and possess good interpersonal skills, be a consensus builder, and have financial and service planning expertise. Some key responsibilities of the Executive Director include: • Planning, establishing, and maintaining the Montgomery County community mental health and alcohol/drug system • Providing leadership in determining and locating sources of additional funds • Developing and maintaining key professional relationships with business, community, legislative, and other human service leaders • Recruiting and hiring appropriate staff to carry out the function of the office • Supervising the Montgomery County ADAMHS Board staff and evaluating their performance
