Description
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids for Scale Maintenance Services for the San Onofre Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility (CVEF) and San Onofre Platform Scales (PS). The contract term is expected to be from May 1, 2026, to April 30, 2029. Bidders must meet specific qualification requirements, including having a C-61/D-21 Machinery and Pumps License and being registered with the DIR. A mandatory walk-through will be held on January 14, 2026.
• The scope of work includes providing scale maintenance services for the San Onofre CVEF and San Onofre PS.
• Bidders must submit their bids by January 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
• The contract award will be based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid.
• The CHP reserves the right to extend the contract term as necessary.
• Bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to prevailing wage rates and DVBE participation.
