Value Added Reseller – IT Products and Services

The University of Massachusetts System is seeking to establish strategic, multi‑vendor partnerships with qualified Value‑Added Resellers (VARs) to provide a full suite of IT hardware, software and related services across its six campuses and central administration. The contract will be a three‑year base term (with up to two optional one‑year renewals) and will be awarded to multiple vendors to ensure coverage of a broad range of manufacturers, pricing models, and specialized expertise. Vendors must register on the UMass Supplier Portal, submit a complete proposal through the Jaggaer BuyWays portal, and agree to a capped 2 % markup on net purchase price, detailed reporting, and strict service‑level expectations. • Provide product resale, implementation, support, and lifecycle management for a statewide higher‑education customer. • Meet rigorous ordering, acknowledgment, and delivery timelines (order quote within 2 business days, acknowledgment within 1 business day, delivery within 5 business days). • Deliver extensive monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc performance and spend reports, and maintain a dedicated account‑team (Account Exec, Lead Architect, Project Manager, Billing Analyst) with limited account load.
