Pre-Qualifying Additional Firms to Supplement RFQ 17483- Construction Phase Services

The City of Lubbock is seeking to pre-qualify additional firms to supplement RFQ 17483 for construction phase services. The selected firms will provide construction phase professional services, including resident project representation and engineer of record services, for large municipal roadway projects. The scope of work includes site visits, communication, progress meetings, project management, and coordination between the design engineer, construction contractor, and the City. The selection process will involve a two-step evaluation, with a qualifications package submitted by interested firms, followed by a short-listing and potential interviews. • The City is seeking firms with expertise in roadway infrastructure, including collector roadways, arterial roadways, and thoroughfares. • The selected firms will be required to demonstrate their qualifications and experience in providing construction phase services. • The contract will be subject to approval by the City Council. • The City reserves the right to cancel the RFQ, reject any or all submittals, and waive any informality or irregularity in the submittal process.
