Administrative Hearing Officer Services for DLCA: Office of Cannabis Regulation

The Government of the Virgin Islands is seeking a qualified Administrative Hearing Officer to provide services on behalf of the Office of Cannabis Regulation. The selected Hearing Officer will preside over administrative hearings, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, manage pre-hearing processes, and prepare written findings and decisions. The contract will be for a period of one year with a one-year renewal option. • The Hearing Officer will be responsible for presiding over formal proceedings and appeals related to license and permit applications, enforcement actions, and regulatory compliance. • The selected individual or firm will be required to have experience in administrative law, regulatory enforcement, or adjudication, particularly in highly regulated industries. • The contract will be awarded based on the evaluation of statements of qualifications, with factors including professional qualification, experience, and quality of performance. • The successful respondent will be required to provide a statement of qualifications, including a cover sheet, experience, qualifications, equipment listing, and additional required documents.
