Description
The Guilford County Purchasing Department is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide consultation, legal advice, and representation in all appeals arising under Article 44, Chapter 7B of the North Carolina General Statutes. The selected firm will represent the County on Appeals from orders entered in cases arising out of Chapter 7B of the North Carolina General Statutes to the North Carolina Court of Appeals and North Carolina Supreme Court where Guilford County Division of Health & Human Services is either the appellant or appellee.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing consultation, legal advice, and representation in appeals
• Representing the County in the North Carolina Court of Appeals and North Carolina Supreme Court
• Compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, executive orders, and conditions of the identified funding source
• The contract will be awarded as a Fixed-Price or Not to Exceed
• Providers must be licensed to do business in North Carolina and certify that they are NOT debarred from doing business with the Federal government
