RFP: Broker of Record Services - Property and Casualty - EUS

MUJC is seeking a qualified insurance brokerage firm to serve as the Broker of Record for its Property & Casualty program. The broker will procure, evaluate, negotiate, and administer insurance coverage across a wide range of lines (property, liability, auto, workers’ comp, cyber, pollution, etc.), advise the district on risk management, support budgeting, and monitor regulatory changes. The contract runs from around April 20 2026 through June 30 2027, with a possible two‑year renewal. • Procure competitive P&C insurance for a public‑school district serving ~225 special‑education students. • Evaluate insurer bids, prepare recommendation reports, and act as the district’s liaison with carriers. • Provide ongoing policy administration, regulatory monitoring, and support for board/committee meetings. • Maintain extensive liability and workers’ compensation insurance for the broker, disclose all commission arrangements, and submit required certifications and forms. • Hourly rate to be provided for any “extraordinary services” beyond standard brokerage duties.
