Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking a certified Small Business (SB) or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) to provide roll-up door and hinged door replacement services at the Caltrans Kearny Mesa Lab in San Diego, California. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, parts, supplies, equipment, tools, licenses, permits, travel, disposal fees, and incidentals necessary to replace four roll-up door assemblies and operators and 18 hinged doors. The services shall be performed in accordance with the proposed form of agreement and exhibit A, scope of work.
• The contractor must possess a valid and current C-61/D-28 - Doors, Gates, and Activating Devices Contractor and B - General Building Contractor license issued by the California Contractor's State License Board (CSLB).
• The contractor must have a valid and current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements, including prevailing wage rates, workers' compensation, and insurance requirements.
• The contractor must provide a price quote that includes all costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals.
• The contractor must attend a mandatory site inspection on February 17, 2026, at 10:45 a.m.
