Description
The State of Missouri, through the Department of Elementary & Secondary Education, is seeking a qualified contractor to provide full‑time in‑school nursing services at the Missouri School for the Blind for the FY27 contract year. The contractor must supply a Missouri‑licensed Registered Nurse (RN) and a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to cover specified weekday and evening shifts, administer medication, maintain health records, provide first aid, coordinate appointments, and comply with extensive background‑check, licensing, and reporting requirements. All bids must be submitted electronically via MissouriBUYS by the October 7, 2026 deadline.
• Contract period: November 1 2026 – October 31 2027 (12 months)
• Required staffing: RN & LPN Monday‑Friday 6:30 am‑3:00 pm; LPN Sunday‑Thursday 3:30 pm‑11:00 pm
• Must be a Missouri‑licensed RN or LPN in good standing
• Experience with blind, multi‑handicapped, deaf‑blind children (ages 5‑21) required
• Mandatory background checks (Family Care Safety Registry, fingerprint‑based state checks)
• Vendor must be registered and “Approved/Spend Authorized” in MissouriBUYS
• Monthly invoicing; payment within 30 days of receipt; total contract value not to exceed amount on Exhibit B (not disclosed)
