Description
The State of Maine is seeking a contractor to provide custodial services for the Department of Health & Human Services, One Weston Court Augusta Work Centers. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to extend for an additional 4 years. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, supplies, and personnel to perform the required tasks. The tasks include daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of the facility, as well as periodic tasks such as steam cleaning of carpets. The contractor must also provide a disaster recovery plan and ensure that all employees working on the contract have undergone a background check.
• The facility is approximately 997 square feet, all carpet.
• The contractor must provide a commercial/industrial grade vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaning equipment, and floor buffer.
• The contractor must use EPA-approved germicidal cleaners and disinfectants.
• The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance and maintain it for the duration of the contract.
• The contractor must report any incidents of infectious disease to the Contract Administrator within 24 hours.
